A New way of life

Hi! I'm a homeschooling mother of 7 children, who has graduated four of them and still working on the other 3. We've been married 26 years this past September. In 2006 I decided to take control of my health and life. That included quitting a 30 year smoking habit on Feb. 12, 2006 and losing 30 lbs. I succeeded in doing both! I felt great and I got very adventuresome in my life. I walked all over town, rode my bike, have been known to skateboard and on my 45th birthday I went and jumped off a BIG rope swing into a (COLD!) lake. UPDATE I had foot surgery 3 yrs ago and everthing ground to a screeching halt after that 4 months of recovery and then a severely torn ligament set me back another year. I am still NOT smoking but I gained 30lb's back. Now I am back again to re-encourage myself to lose them again! Mini Goal#1 (160) by 3/15/12 - Starbuck's NF Mocha ~YAY! Goal #1 reached 3/11/12~ Mini Goal#2 (155lbs) by 4/15/12 - Hair Color - Red! Mini Goal #3 (150lbs) by 5/15/12- New shirt Mini Goal #4 (145lbs) by 6/15/12 - New jeans Mini Goal #5 (140lbs) by 7/15/12 - New Dress for my daughter's wedding! Mini Goal #6 (135lbs) by 8/15/12 - Pretty piece of Jewelry Mini Goal #7 (130lbs) by 9/15/12 - Girl's Night Out! Mini Goal #8 (125lbs) by 10/15/12 - A bouquet of silk roses and foot SURGERY!

My program is to live, love, and laugh every single day and to use my every waking moment really appreciating all that we have.
Other Information:
I used to read ALL the time, but now I associate it with smoking and do most of my reading online. i really miss my books, but I'm hoping I can slowly build up my Patience level to sitting and doing "nothing" again! Right now its very hard to just sit and read or just sit and watch TV. Drives my hubby crazy, but I am perfectly happy on the computer every night instead of watching STOOOOPID TV shows. (xcept for Survivor and AI....hehe!)
