Working on losing weight

I've been trying to lose 40 pounds since February 2009- managed to get down 10 lbs, and have now begun the yo-yo weight loss, which is irritating. I joined spark people to hopefully help me lose weight and keep it off, and stay motivated and find a way to lose the next 30.

My Goals:
I'm aiming to get down to 140. But once I get there I'm hoping to shed another 5 just to be on the safe side.

My Program:
I work out on a treadmill 3-5 times a week, and I just purchased the 30 day shred, so I'll be starting that soon. Hopefully combining the two will get me on the quick track to weight loss.

Hi Amber;

Glad to hear that your vacation went well. It feels great when we take time away and don't gain weight! I hope the exercise continues to work for you.

I got on the scale yesterday and I am now 2 lbs from my next goal. I haven't been at this weight in a very long time.

Hi Amber;

Just stopping into say Hi. How has your day gone? Did you get a chance to get some exercise in? I spent my whole morning mowing the lawn, raking, planting flowers. Tonight my Husband and I are going to do some walking. Trying to get him to exercise more. Have a good week

Hello Amber

Yesterday was quiet. I did go out for a bike ride for an hour. From start at Furneaux Street on the bike trail to Crooked Trail street. It is a great bike/walking trail. I also had to work last night so I am on my feet for 8 hrs.

Today my husband and I rode the trail to the Frankfort/Josey Walgreens to pick up his medicine. I at least got in 30 mins of riding today. Again I am working tonight from 3-9pm.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR NOT overeating yesterday.

Good Morning;

How are you doing today? Have you planned your exercise into your day? Are you going somewhere for Easter? I try to have a plan for myself if I don't do the cooking that day. Good luck today and you can do this, I am positive that you will do your best today.
