A little less Amy

I came to SparkPeople on August 20, 2012 weighing 253 lbs. For nine months, I was very devoted to tracking and exercising and lost roughly 50 lbs before I turned 40 last July. Since my birthday, I have been struggling and regained some weight.

April/May 2014: I am trying Jenny Craig for a couple of months. Work is crazy and I need an easy "grab and go" option.

I am from Alabama, have three daughters and work full time.

I came to sparkpeople because I am pre-diabetic and want to get healthier and reduce my blood sugar. For now, I have cut all bread, pasta, and sugar from my diet.

I struggle with cooking at home for myself, my husband and three picky kids.

Hi Amy! The journey to health and wellness is a long one. I feel that any forward movement is a good thing. Take time, adjust and listen to yourself. Really listen.
How are the stair coming? There is a meditative quality to the climb that is empowering. I'm think of you! emoticon
