Lovin' life on the lake

My husband and I retired to east Tennessee 5 years ago, after years of living and working in the Washington, DC area. We love it here! We live on a beautiful lake, within sight of the Smoky Mountains, with our Boston Terrier, Buddy. Itís a great life, but Iíve also found that having so much free time has meant that over the years, my weight has crept up. I love to cook, which means that there can be lots of tempting food in the house. But it also means that Iím in a great position to control ...

I love to cook, which means that there can be lots of tempting food in the house. But it also means that Iím in a great position to control the content of most of what we eat, and can cook light and healthy recipes. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. by November.

My Program:
Tracking everything I eat so that I am aware of how much I am eating.

Exercise at least 6 days a week (power walking with Leslie Sanson or riding my stationary bike for 10+ miles).

Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Portion control!

Hey girl -- Saw this "tip" about the tracker and wanted you to have it too! xx

found another easy way to adjust your steps manually.
Click on your other goals page
look at daily step goal
find day with number you need to change and click on the red underlined number
change the number there and put a note as to why you changed it
click save changes


Now if you also need to add calories for this activity you will need to add that in your fitness tracker manually.
