motivation to lose

I've been gradually gaining weight over the past few years and I really want to get into both good shape and good habits before I have to live in the "real world" as an adult. I'm also a freshman in college, so it would be great if I could not only keep off, but reverse the fabled freshman fifteen.

So far the hardest thing for me is keeping track of what I eat, because a buffet-style cafeteria is not conducive to calorie counting, but I've got a good routine started with working ...

My Goals:
I'd love to weigh 120 or 125 by my 20th birthday this summer, but I'd settle for somewhere in the 130s. I haven't weighed less than 140 in over four years.

My Program:
I've started going to the gym three times a week and I'm keeping track of my water intake, but I sort of fell off the food-tracking wagon when I got back to school and the cafeteria.

Personal Information:
I'm a freshman in college, originally from NH now living in the Twin Cities.

Other Information:
I'm a dork. I'd probably have it easier with this weight loss thing if I didn't spend so much time sitting around with a book and a mug of tea.

The weight-tracker bar at the bottom? Noooo, I didn't draw that ;) If you edit your Sparkpage, near the bottom is an option to "Show Weight Loss Ticker". If you check that, you can make your own bar :)
