Again

I listened to others. Others who told me that I was getting to small, still others who told me that as you get older, you will gain weight and it's okay, even still others who told me that I was exercising too much.

I didn't listen to myself and my body because I felt great. I was sleeping better, feeling stronger, getting sick less often, not feeling depressed...

It's so much harder to begin again, but I'm determined to reclaim what I lost by listening to the ...

It's so much harder to begin again, but I'm determined to reclaim what I lost by listening to the negative comments of others, who I don't even think realize the effect that their comments had on me.

My Goals:
Goal 1: Loose 25 pounds by Sept. 30, 2008
Goal Set: 6/26/08
Goal Met: 9/27/08

Goal 2: Maintain the weight loss (NOT MET)

Goal 3: Loose 10 pounds by May 1, 2009 (NOT MET) Gained 4 more pounds

Goal 4: Loose 14 pounds by August 15, 2009

Goal 4: Only commit to things that I am passionate about. In other words say "NO" to some things. (NOT MET)

New Goal 1: Release 35 pounds by September 30, 2010. (Maybe if I just loose the weight, I will find it again.)

New Goal 2: Don't listen to negative people.




My Program:
I read a book called Thin Within, and it talks about eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full. I also purchased Slim in 6 and hope that it will give me the boost to start loosing weight.

New Program:
1. Eat 1300 calories a day
2. Monitor protien, fiber, and calcium (My weak areas)
3. Exercise as often as possible.

I thought this was a somewhat funny story...

MOSES AND THE RED SEA
Nine-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday School. 'Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt . When he got to the Red Sea , he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved.' 'Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?' his mother asked. 'Well, no, Mom. But, if I told it the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!'
