I have struggled all my life with being heavy, sometimes having a little success with weight loss but always falling back to my old ways. I am now ready and committed to making a life-long change.
I first joined the site in January and got some amazing results.. I was at the point where my body craved exercise instead of food! I "fell off the wagon" and am trying to get back on it! I need to do this!
My goals are to obtain a higher level of health and to be happy. I hope to lose 80 lbs in a healthy and gradual way and to make lifelong changes, not crash diet.
I am following the Spark diet guidelines and making gradual but effective changes. I workout 5-6x a week on the treadmill and also do strength training with free weights and stability ball. I also use the Wii Fit, Just Dance 2 and Zumba to spice things up.
I'm Angela, 23 years old and from Northwest Ohio. I'm a funny, friendly sweet girl that has always been the "chubby girl". I'm looking forward to being the hot girl!
My interests include movies, music, spending time with my family especially my nieces, scrapbooking, ceramics, painting, museums, reading, swimming, traveling and watching TV. Also hoping to add some physical activities to this list soon!
*Update* I am starting to enjoy working out! Its a great stress release and I am amazed at the higher level of fitness I have.

the the SPARK world. It is a great place to record your nutrition and exercise, find support and blog your way to a healthier lifestyle.
Thanks to SPARK I have successfully loss and kept the weight off. I have been sparking for 2 years now. Some days its easy, some days its hard. Sometimes time there isn't any time to do anything except to get your workout in.
Remember this is your journey, Do your best. Start off with small manageable goals and don't forget to reward yourself along the way.
