Let's see, well I guess I'll just start at the beginning:) I was a skinny little runt as a child and as I hit the teen years I slowly started gaining weight until I hit a dreadful 190 pounds! I new I was overweight, but instead of doing something about it, I just continued to use food as my comfort. When I turned 17 I had finally had it with the big shirts and not feeling comfortable in bathing suits and shorts, so I decided to do something about it..however, I didn't go about it in a very healthy way. I cut my calorie intake to 300 hundred calories a day and if I just couldn't handle it and binged on stuff, after wards I would just make myself throw up. I started exercising like crazy, started running and was seeing great results, at least in how I looked. But, even when I was down to 125 pounds, I still wasn't satisfied. I grew up in a Christian home, but at this point had completely walked away from everything I knew to be true. I didn't end my weight loss there, even though I was wearing size 4s & 6s, I wasn't happy. I continued with my unhealthy way of dieting and quickly went down to about 110 pounds, which for my 5'8" frame, was not very healthy, I was wearing a loose size 2 and guess what I wasn't happy! I finally realized that the only way to be happy was to get my life right with the Lord and I finally did, but must confess that I still struggled with how I looked. I stayed within a 5 pound range of 130 pounds from there and all up till I got pregnant with my first child..... After the births of my 3 children I initially lost about 25 pounds, but after a few months gained that and then some back! I joined Biggest Loser Club in Jan 08 at 179 pounds and have lost 20 pounds up till now, but most of that was lost in the first few months. I must confess for the last couple I haven't done much of anything and am ready to change that!!! So here goes nothing! Oh and I am married to the love of my life, Tim and have 3 awesome children...Sofie(8/5/02), Rylie(3/8/04) & Noah(6/13/07). They keep me busy, but I do love every minute of it! It does however, present some obstacles, in trying to get time to exercise and I am often tempted by their snacks and will confess to finishing off their dinners when they push their plates aside:) I do know, that I have a BIG trip planned this summer and I want to look as good as possible for it, so I need to get as much accomplished in the next month and a half as I can! Not to mention my anniversary is in August and I'd love to look smokin for that!
My goals are to lose about 30 more pounds and to have a healthy lifestyle, not just for myself, but I want to pass the healthy lifestyle on to my husband and children!
Hmmm... right now, not so much, but my goal is to track my calories and only allow a maximum of 1300 a day. I'm also going to try to get in at least an hour of exercise a day, maybe more some days when I have the time and maybe others a little less. Most of all I'm relying on Jesus to help me and my awesome group of women known as the PINK POSSE!!!!!!
