    For circuit-style resistance workouts I just go with the 8cal/minute number, as long as I'm working really hard. Men could probably go with 10.

    As for EPOC, you got me, there. I have no idea how to figure that one out.

    The only reason I actually count calories in exercise, BTW, is to make sure I eat 'em all for the purpose of gaining muscle. Otherwise, I just exercise hard and don't think about it too much.

    My box comes highly recommended in my area. We have some amazing trainers there. They don't let you screw around. If the class is in the double digits, they have more than one coach on for extra eyes and spotters. We have mobility classes. It's a great gym and I feel very comfortable there. I really like the workouts because they challenge me in ways I haven't been challenged in a long time. I appreciate your blog input!!!
