Thank you so much for the advice on my pull ups blog. This morning I was able to get 5 full pull ups just by having my husband put his hands on my waist. Isn't that crazy? I'll continue to do them assisted and on my own so I can meet my goal. Thanks again!!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. What you say about starches makes sense. There is now a product which a lot of low-carbers seem to like which gives slow energy because of how it is digested. It might be great for strength training, too. It's called superstarch and Peter Attia's website has a lot of information on it. 1385 days ago

The Fitness Competition that I take part in is an all women's physical fitness challenge called Femsport and is very similar to crossfit challenges. I didn't place very well last year so the goal is to get even stronger so I don't injure myself doing the tireflips next year. I am taking part in a run called "Dirty Feet" next year so if I like that then I may consider toughmudder!
