"To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

HELLO! My name is Ariel. :) I'm 19 years old and finished with my first year of college.

I'm 5'1", and I often feel unfit and bulky. I've always struggled with my weight, but in my senior year of high school I finally felt thin and in shape.

And then college started. I devolved into a mess of bingeing. I lost motivation to eat healthy, which in turn lead to weight gain, which lowered my self-esteem and continued the vicious cycle.

I want to be healthy again. I want to love myself again. And it all starts here.

I can do it!

Anyways, I'm very friendly, and I like talking to people - so don't hesitate to contact me...about anything! :)

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! Costco is my enemy - they have such good deals on snack foods, but they come in bulk, and once I have them in the house it's hard not to eat :-).

As a young person, you have a super great opportunity to build a strong body, both inside and out.

Create the foundation you want for life, in thought and in deeds. Choose the path you want for the next 10 years AND beyond.

Above all, believe in yourself and what you have to offer. Don't sell yourself short and settle for less.

Wishing you the best in you journey for health and fitness!

Welcome to the San Antonio SparkTeam. We are a fun bunch just looking to support, empower, encourage, motivate, lift up one another. (I tried thinking of more adjectives there but my brain started to hurt and I had to stop).

I recommend you just jump on in and start being involved. We have lots of great blogs to read, posts to review and friends to make. Enjoy your time here with SparkPeople (however long it lasts - although long term is a good answer) and remember ---

We are all on a journey and together we can achieve more success than alone.
