Hello! I've been working with Sparkpeople for two years now, and it's been great. I've lost 45 pounds, and feel way better about myself, but even MORE important, I have an entirely different understanding about food!
New goals: Lose 10 lbs, improve cardio performance, sleep (and recover) more!
Abs! I know I have them, because how else could I stand up straight? However, I've never actually SEEN them... anyway, 2011 is the year of the abs. I'm hoping attending to my diet + more cardio (less wieghts) = abs?
1) Track food everyday! And be THINKING about the CALORIES I am EATING, jeez.
2) Cardio 5 days a week, 3 days 60 minutes, 2 days mixed cardio/weights (one upper one lower). More intense weights on the remaining 2 days? Whatever, get to the gym every day, even if it's just for 30 minutes of cardio.
3) Meditate for 10 minutes at the beginning of every day. Sit mens sana in corpore sano, and all that.
4) Keep a journal. Probably not everyday, and not publicly.

Tracking isn't too bad, yesterday was the first day that I literally tracked everything I ate like I was doing in London. I gave myself a few days to just relax and enjoy the foods I missed from being gone. Eating here really isn't too terrible, the foods I overate on in the past few days were actually foods I brought back from London, haha! Once I got home and I had my one night of In n Out, it was like: ok, that tasted good, but I don't need it all the time. Which is obviously true since i made it 4 months without it, lol. But anyway, the foods I used to really love and obsess over are not so exciting now, I think because I've proved that I don't need them by living without them for so long. Also, three helpful things for me: chocolate doesn't taste as good here, I don't have any money to buy excess food, and my job this summer requires me to be in a bathing suit. Good motivation. =)

congrats on passing 1,000 fitness minutes!! you're going to pass me up soon! and dude, 10 pounds is awesome. kicking my ass by far on that side of it.
when are you going to be on skype again? i know i sound like a loser with nothing to do but be on skype, but i miss chatting with you! =)

congrats!!! 4 pounds was my weight loss last week, but this week has been a little out of control, so I have a feeling I gained one or two back...oh well!
