Sparodic attempts-i.e. lack of consistently have plagued me during the past six months. However, I recently read a blog by JMerleau which shook me up: Shut and Sweat was the tile of the blog. Merlau's blogs inspire me. Especially important to my state of mind was his quote:

"We must train from the inside out. Using our strengths to attack and nullify any weaknesses. It's not about denying a weakness may exist but about denying its right to persist."

It was the notion of persitence over weaknesses which resonated in me. Though I have read Sparkpeople emails, articles, recipes etc. daily through the 6 moths, I have not commited to healthy living as much as I did today. Thank you JMerlau.

Hi, Well I finally reached that point where I am sick and tired about looking I do and feeling like I do. This gave me the kick in the pants to start my 100 day get healthy project. Today I am on day 4!! My first two day I over did exercising and paid a price called pain. Today, I did much better and I watching my portion size, plus eating three meals daily, NOT drinking soda, also walking and dancing for exercise. It's only day four, but I can feel my stomach has gone down emoticon emoticon

The end of 2014 is here. This letter is a special "Thank You" for the support, encouragement and friendship you so willingly gave me. 2014 was not an easy year for me nor my family, however, you helped me weather the stormy times. There is a silver lining in every storm cloud, because going through those tough times allowed me to see just how important you are.

Very soon we will be welcoming in 2015, a brand new year and adventure, filled with the unknown. My prayer for you is, may you and your family be healthy, filled with joy and peace filled days. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers during the new year because you hold a special place in my heart. Happy New Year my dear friend.

Some people dislike Mondays; they hate getting out of bed. However, Monday is the day that can determine how your entire weeks goes. Monday is the day to have a mighty amount of motivation to put into a multitude of positive thoughts and actions. You see, how you think about Monday and which actions you take determines your week...yes, you do have control over how you perceive Mondays....so think of this Monday as a day to be enjoyed and filled with lots of opportunity for a good life. Monday is a Mighty Important Day!
