another day late and another year older

I've always felt overweight. Even when I was within "normal" BMI I thought that I should weigh less. Part of me still believes that but now I'd give anything to be at that weight again.

In the winter of 2006/07 I went snowboarding and wiped out pretty bad. I was sore and had probably sprained my back. Sucking it up I went out with my friends who ended up lifting and dropping me. The next day I couldn't walk. After many many doctor trips (and an MRI) they realized I had a ...

The next day I couldn't walk. After many many doctor trips (and an MRI) they realized I had a herniated disc and have chronic pain in my lower back.

Now that I finally feel back to normal (yoga and chiropractic care are awesome!) I have joined the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls and started training to become a Derby Skater!

Saw your post on the hunger scale from last year - it was JUST what I was looking for to help me eat more consciously. Thanks for the information. Hope you are doing well!

I keep weighing myself like every day three times a day -- I think I need to throw it out hah

I've gone over my calories a few times too (mostly due to alcohol and the food I eat after drinking) but we just need to remember that it's a new day! Forget mistakes because we've got the rest of our lives ahead of us full of health and happiness. And I kind of think it's unreasonable to stick to an incredibly strict diet if only because if it's a drastic change from what you're used to, you won't stick to it forever. So going over your fat and calories a few times isn't that big of a deal, I think it really makes you more likely to succeed! lol :) i hope your week has been good ^^

hahaha I'm glad i'm not the only slacking vegetarian out there, I feel guilty about it sometimes

it's going okay although i wish the scale would do what I want it to do -- even if I feel healthier and look better I just want the number to back it all up, although maybe I should get that out of my head

how about you?

I'm really glad that you shared about this site. :)

Today was "Day 1" of my healthier living, and it went well. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up. I'll totes do my best to be a good pal, too, and encourage you.
