I started in Jan 2009. I have learned that eating every 2-3 hours can keep you full and help you to lose weight. I am ready to help anyone I can and listen to the advise of others. I want to lose this extra weight by June of 2014. weight.

emoticon Dropping by my friends just to see how everyone's doing? Hope things are going really well. Don't think I've seen many posts from you recently? Course I might have missed them... Have so much going on myself.
I'm just plodding along here as far as weight goes. Have hit yet ANOTHER plateau but getting used to sitting on them for WEEKS at a time. Least last time I managed to get off it I lost two pounds. Hope it's that good this time around.
Will be going to my husband's 40th High School reunion in Texas (your state right?!) in three more weeks. Girl I mean it's a little bitty podunk kind of town with maybe two motels! Not a thing in site to do except count the lizards! HA!
We're actually going to have a pond put in within the next few days. We bought another 16.6 acres late last year (we originally had five acres and the opportunity to get the 16+ right next to us opened up and we were SO LUCKY we were able to buy it!) and have been trying to get things fixed up as much as we can this summer. The guy doing it for us said he'd give us a break on $$ (please!) and we'll have all Fall/Winter long to fill it up with (rain)water so maybe by Summer next year we'll have enough to stock some fish in it. Not to mention have some place CLOSE our six dogs can go swimming! We have a large pond WAAAY back on our land but it's a real distance to get to. This pond will be maybe less than a football field away. I'll take some before & after photos and tell everyone to go to my SPage and look!
Guess I better get going...still have to finish paying bills tonight for the month and getting a bite for dinner.

Just stopping by to see how your week has been! I am trying to plan for a few days away, but a little panicked that I will fall into old habits while gone. Hope you are feeling energized and enjoying the Spark!

Hi! Thanks so much for adding me as a friend. After I get through 'visiting' with you, I'll head over to my SparkePage and add you as well. You can NEVER have too many diamonds OR FRIENDS! HA! It was so sweet of you to add me, not sure what I've done to deserve the honor but I promise I'll do what I can to HELP YOU through this experience we've both decided to enjoy emoticon . I know one thing for sure and that this is NOT a diet but like I've been saying, it's a LIFESTYLE! I say that a lot to others but that's to help REMIND ME of it as well! I seriously feel better eating healthy and trying to keep up with SOME KIND of exercise. I'm not as good with that as I should be...life keeps getting in the way you know? So most of my advise on the threads you see is almost always what I'm saying to myself. I really love SparkPeople for making this so easy on us. There are no 'special' foods to buy...to little drinks to take 3x a day...nothing but eating healthy and exercising more. Which is exactly what all the reports and articles I'm reading nowadays advise. Have you seen or tried the Menu Planner? I LOVE THAT! Seriously, I plan my entire week with that, print out my meals, then print out the Grocery list to use for shopping.
Better go for now. Almost time to head for bed round here. BTW, I love Texas! When I worked @ FedEx Texas was one of my states to go do business in so really enjoyed my visits there over the years.
