The Year of Change

I am back...after a tough year and one half of life taking over! Last week I started taking a Zumba class and I am now looking at getting back into a healthy pattern. I have learned a lot about myself in the last year or so and that is I need to take care of myself before I drop everything for everyone else! Next October I am spend 11 days in Ireland and I want to be a whole new person on the outside by the time I get on the plane!

I plan to reward myself on certain weight loss ...

I plan to reward myself on certain weight loss milestones! The will be as follows:

***20 pounds lost- 60 minute massage

***30 pounds lost- get a pedicure

***40 pounds lost- get a new pair of sneakers

***50 pounds lost- get a 90 minute massage

***60 pounds lost- get a new outfit (head to toe with accessories)

***70 pounds lost- the necklace that I have wanted

***80 pounds lost- 5 new outfits (head to toe with accessories)

***90 pounds lost-???

***100 pounds lost-???

***110 pounds lost-???

***120 pounds lost-???

***130 pounds lost-???

***140 pounds lost-???

***154 pounds lost-buy an all new wardrobe!

I will also be posting a weekly blog soundling off, complaining, jumping for joy at the things that are going on with this weight loss journey. I will speak of everything- the good, the bad and the ugly.

***Do at least 20 minutes of cardio workout Monday- Saturday

***Strength train on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for at least 30 minutes.


***At least once a week during the nice weather go for my 4 mile walk.

I'm sitting here watching as the snow melts emoticon
& I started thinking about us the Mahogany Melters.
Lets All start working together & just as this snow
is disappearing around me - may all of our extra pounds
