loosing weight has been a battle field since I left to college. I have be yo-yoing ever since. Every other month I seem to find myself saying" to day will be the day i start!" I have had day number one at lest 20!

i think the heardest part for me is knowing I live veggies and hiking and being active yet I'm over weight? And because of that I have had three knee surgeries since 2001. Almost every three years getting another ( I'm braking the streak this year!) no knee surgeries!! I was doing good while I lived in montana. I even made it down to 145! The littlest I have been since 2004! But then my
boyfriend got a teaching job in Honduras, so we packed up our lives and moved out! Even through it is exciting I am unable to even walk out side let alone roll down my window in my car. This makes it very difficult to loose weight, and with the great deep-fried food making it TOO easy to gain weight!

I got to my heaviest weight yet- 167 last spring break and I have made it back to 147 September 2010. And now I have crept back up over Christmas 2010 back to 165 and back down to 159 today! ( march 28 2011) I hope to be 130 strong by New years 2012!

I have the support as well as the influence NOT to eat like crazy and drink a lot on the weekends. I am ready to feel good about myself and get back to the goals I had in Montana!!
UPdate June 2012:

I am now the heaviest I have EVER been. For the last month that I was in Honduras I gave up on working out and eating right and gained almost 20 lbs! Now I am even farther way from my end goal. I now weight 175 at 5'1". NOw that I am BACK in the states I feel as though there is no more time for excuses.

I have been back for almost one week and I have been on at least one 4-5 mile walk a day and an hours workout on level 10 on the elliptical burning about 700 cals. I feel great! I have also been able to go back to being a Vegan eating healthy once again!!

My Goals:
I have always been a really happy person but latly I have been getting depressed about my weight and the life stye that follows it.
My goals:
-Feel happy
-Sleep more
-Live a healthy life stye
- look at my clothes with excitement!
-enjoy life daily!

My Program:
-Eat 1200 1500 cals a day

- walk in the morning

-swim in the afternoon 5 days a week for one hour

- bike to the bus and back

-weekend hikes

- eat vegan
-32 oz or more of water a day.

    I'm glad you found my advice useful. Confession time: I haven't actually measured myself in forever. I'm content to eat well, exercise, drink lots of water and enjoy life. Today, someone who hadn't seen me for a while said that my face looked like I had lost weight! Now there's some confirmation that I'm doing the right thing. Well done for getting rid of the scale!! It's just a number and doesn't tell the whole story.
