Other Information:
nothing makes you realize that you're not very interesting like a little box where you're suppose to type in things about you that are interesting.

I play the piano. Does that count? Funny thing about playing the piano is the number of people who say they would just kill to be able to play what I play. Yea cause it's magic, I just rolled out of bed and could do this. Sure like anything, you have to not just want to do it but want to put in the time to do it.

that's my sermon for the day

Dang your husband really is the Flash! I can't even fathom running that fast. I mean I can ... but only if I'm running a couple hundred feet or so.

What run are you doing next weekend? I'm doing my official 12th run in the 12th month next weekend too ... on Sunday, Dec. 7th in the Jingle Bell run.

I bet Bodie LOVES when you take him running, even if it takes you down a minute mile. Bodie don't care about time. Neither should you. (Hey, that just might be my mantra....though wifey would wonder who the heck Bodie is haha.)

So what is a Chi running book? Is it kinda like a zen thing where they try to teach you to run without thinking of how hard it is???

Breathing exercises?

Anyway .. thanks for the support about the potential new job!

Thanks for your comment on my "Pedaling a Bulldozer - Fat Bike" blog. I am used to cold and have really warm clothes. Colorado is a high desert so snow tends to be soft and fluffy. Humidity is low. The wind is often calm. Colorado is also a sunny place with cobalt blue skies.

Some places in the country are miserable when it is below freezing. Colorado is a winter playground because of sunny days and mild winter weather.

Keep Warm,

Bruce

Nope .... dogs do NOT like rain or cold. And, the one pup I take runs all squirelly!

The Tofurkey Trot is over the river in Portland. It's not going to be very big ... more of a neighborhood run to benefit local organic farmers.

There are several "normal" Turkey Trots ... a couple are fair in size. But the really big run around here (besides the Portand and Eugene marathons) is the St Patrick's Day Shamrock Run. There's multiple distances and stuff. I believe the past year was roughly 30,000 runners/walkers ... followed by about 6K-7K pure walkers. It is a HUGE event.
