Getting back to a Corps weight

This is the beginning of my journey to get back to a healty Marine Corps weight per the Marine Corps regulations. When i exited the Marine Corps 12 years ago I weighed in at 197 pounds. Now i hope to get back too a healthy and fit 190 pounds 7 less than when i exited the Marines.

To lose about 55 pounds. in doing so improve my physical and mental health. To once again feel the pride of being fit. To set a better example for my martial arts students and show them that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

I too was in the Marines, and got out in 1998. I'm hoping to get near the weight I was in the corps as well. I'm actually hoping to be about 15 lbs less than I was when I was in. I figure I just won't have the muscle mass I used to.
