Getting serious this time
This isn't my first time on Sparks but I do intend it to be my first 1st SERIOUS time on Sparks. I recently lost about 10 pounds of weight that I gained once I met my husband and I'm looking to melt off the final 4-6 pounds plus tone up. The key with me is making gradual changes rather than severe ones. If my lifestyle change is too drastic all at once, I get overwhelmed and feel deprived and give up right away. This isn't my first time on Sparks but I do intend it to be my first 1st SERIOUS time on Sparks. I recently lost about 10 pounds of weight that I gained once I met my husband and I'm looking to melt off the final 4-6 pounds plus tone up. The key with me is making gradual changes rather than severe ones. If my lifestyle change is too drastic all at once, I get overwhelmed and feel deprived and give up right away. I'm 5'5" and in the past 7 years, I've been anywhere from 120 - 150. I'm hovering around 132 now and I'm mainly focused on toning up and maintaining a healthy eating regimine. Though, I'd love to see 128 or so on the scale ;) This time, I started with eating better. Once I felt that I had a handle on that, I added in some running. Now that I've grown to love that, I'm incorporating some strength training. The last time I tried Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, I made it a week but saw definite progress. So why didn't I stick with it? lol I've completed Day 1 so far and it left me far too sore to attempt Day 2 until 3 days later. This will be my journey to stick with the healthy eating, stick with the running/walking during the week and to incorporate the 30 day shred into my routine to see even more results.

My Goals:
**Complete the 30 Day Shred and share my progress pictures! **Obtain tighter thighs, butt and arms **Get in shape for myself and my future family. I'd like to be in the best shape possible before we start trying to have a baby **Run a half marathon before the end of 2011 ********************************* ********************************* PROGRAM REWARDS: 130 EVEN and maintaining it for a week -Pamper night at the house complete with bubble bath, mani and pedi 125 EVEN and maintaining it for a week - 2 pairs of new jeans/shorts!
My Program:
**30 Day Shred to kickstart the strength training **Once the 30 Day Shred is complete, continue with outdoor running and strength training DVDs **Maintaining my suggested calorie/fat/protein/carb range each day **Trying to get most of my carbs into the morning/early afternoon hours rather than evening hours
