My Goals:
My goal is to get to 150 lbs. I've lost 35 pounds, but have stayed at my current weight for awhile. Time to ramp up my program. I am committing to (1) running 3 days each week, (2) doing at least 10 minutes of strength training 3 days each week, (3) measuring my food, and (4) trying to have fun along the way.

My Program:
Tortoise rather than Hare. I'm trying to do this slowly and diligently. If I lose just 1 pound per week, I'll have lost 52 pounds in a year. After a year of running 5K races, I'm now training for 10K races... maybe even a half marathon by next year.

Personal Information:
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where I work as a Research Administrator for a university. I love taking my hound dog Jeeter for long walks, hiking, running, birdwatching, and making pottery and other ceramic objects.

The race track sounds fun. The cooler weather will be nice. Don't forget to join us for the Oct. challenge in our Hound group! It sounds simple, but some people are either getting back into shape, or getting over a injury. I know I will surpass the 15 mins. daily. Have a good Monday!!
