Here we go again!

Hello. I am in my thirties, married and living in the beautiful albeit damp Pacific Northwest. My goal is to improve my health through adopting sensible eating and exercise habits, losing fat, gaining strength.

Here I am back on SP after losing 10 lbs then regaining it. I will not give up!

In the 7 years since I graduated from university, moved out of country, started my career, I have slowly put on 35 lbs. Last June I was successful to lose 10 lbs, going from 155 ...

Last June I was successful to lose 10 lbs, going from 155 to 145.

I know that when I get distracted from myself and my goals, my eating and exercise habits slide and I regain weight. I know the path to losing weight, it's just a matter of sticking to it!

I believe in healthy weight loss, sensible plans, and do not ascribe to fad diets. I believe the key is slow steady weight loss and being able to live with the changes that you make.

My Goals:
To gain more energy and not get sick all the time. To not feel winded after running 3 miles. To feel comfortable in my skin. To not need to take hours to get ready. To dress in clothes aside from jeans and sweatshirt. To be well. To be fit. To be happy. To be me.

My Program:
I have been away from SP and distracted from my healthy eating and exercise goals and I have regained the 10lbs I lost. My program is to get back to food tracking at least 4x a week and to stay connected with my weight loss buddies!

Personal Information:
I believe that hard work will yield results, and that there is no quick fix solution to weight loss.

hey you are you still here? i am sort of here sort of not. i'm doing what you suggested and just doing one thing at a time (i.e. gym not food). i 've regained every single lb that i lost in april. every single one and THEN SOME! yeesh. i have to say that the results i saw with ww were much faster than the results with the gym but then again i've not been super consistent. i've also increased my workload / stressload by taking 4 classes while working full time ... ya know... when you're gonna do it... just do it ... :p i do tend to be teh all or nothing girl... literally... so i'm saying hello becuase i'm forcing myself to the gym now... despite just wanting to crawl into bed and sleep and despite knowing i should be reading one of my four textbooks :) how are you doing? are you sticking to your plan? i'm trying to remind myself of OUR goal to be healthy for the future of our families... i should write it on a post it note and stick it on my walll eh?
