Here we go again!

Hello. I am in my thirties, married and living in the beautiful albeit damp Pacific Northwest. My goal is to improve my health through adopting sensible eating and exercise habits, losing fat, gaining strength.

Here I am back on SP after losing 10 lbs then regaining it. I will not give up!

In the 7 years since I graduated from university, moved out of country, started my career, I have slowly put on 35 lbs. Last June I was successful to lose 10 lbs, going from 155 to 145.

I know that when I get distracted from myself and my goals, my eating and exercise habits slide and I regain weight. I know the path to losing weight, it's just a matter of sticking to it!

I believe in healthy weight loss, sensible plans, and do not ascribe to fad diets. I believe the key is slow steady weight loss and being able to live with the changes that you make.

My Goals:
To gain more energy and not get sick all the time. To not feel winded after running 3 miles.To feel comfortable in my skin. To not need to take hours to get ready. To dress in clothes aside from jeans and sweatshirt. To be well. To be fit. To be happy. To be me.

My Program:
I have been away from SP and distracted from my healthy eating and exercise goals and I have regained the 10lbs I lost. My program is to get back to food tracking at least 4x a week and to stay connected with my weight loss buddies!

Personal Information:
I believe that hard work will yield results, and that there is no quick fix solution to weight loss.

yesterday was not a successful day i think because it was too unstructured and so i snacked like crazy then went to my aunt's for easter dinner#2.way over again, not even in the same ballpark. i will try again... what should be our next goal
?

I added you as a friend so that we can keep in better contact with each other. Plus who doesn't love someone who is wearing Winter Olympics Red Canadian Mittens while holding THE torch. That appeals to me as I am originally from Calgary as well.

I would love to help you achieve your target as it will be a similar journey to mine after I attempt a 3 month maintenance phase starting in May. So I can try my fitness and lifestyle experiments on you as a guinea pig - hee hee - just kidding - a bit - LOL
