When I let myself go, I don't fool around. I go completely down the rabbit hole of bad eating, no exercise, and complete disinterest in the outside world.

Now I'm digging my way back to the world. Getting back into shape to play tennis, walk 3.1 miles and be relatively happy and sane in this vale of tears.

To walk 3.1 miles by December of this year, then start working towards running a 5K (that probably won't happen until 2016, but hey, it's a goal!

Are you on Goodreads? I use that to keep track of books I want to read. I think it's great you can trade your books in and get credit for new ones. My bff has that option too. She shared it with me a few years back and I came home with lots of books. Then lsst year she was coming up here and she used her credits to get my dad a pile of books too. It's sure a great deal and I wish we had that here!

Thanks for your support. I don't have faith that anything will be found so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and stay healthy. :) As for the flake LMHO! that's definitely one way to do it. I hope she does find another job really soon!!

Thanks for you upbeat positive attitude on my page. I wouldn't normally sweat a pound, this one is part of a cycle that I've been on for months and it's just not normal. That's what is frustrating. I have gained around 25 lbs in a blink for no apparent reason. They ran blood tests on my thyroid but I haven't heard back, so I'm assuming it's fine. I'm just frustrated. And yes, I agree, I am thankful to be alive - regardless of the vessel that holds my spirit, it's wonderful to be breathing. emoticon emoticon
