This will become the new me after 50 years of being overweight.Ever since I was a child I have been over weight. When i got married at 18 I weighed 187 pounds,and I went as high as 367 pounds 2.5 years ago. Since then I have lost 110 pounds. It has been a hard journey for me. I have been over weight since I was 6 years old. Which made my childhood very unhappy to say the least.I never only had one friend in school, but I remember the other children asking my friend to play but I was never asked to. I was all ways very unhappy and lonely too. My grand parents raised me the best that they could. I never knew my father, and my mother was in and out of my life. I remember that when I was 10 my mother had a boyfriend who wanted her to follow him. So one morning I received a letter from her telling me that when I grew up I would understand why she left with him. I still to this day cannot understand how he was more important than me. Today my grand parents are gone and so has my mother passed away, but I were able to make peace with her. She did try to make it better between us thru my children.

My Goals:
My goal is to weigh what I did when I married My husband 43 years ago. At 18 I weighed 187 pounds, and I have weighed as much as 367 pounds. That is a lot of weight to carry around.It has taken me 2.6 years to lose 110 pounds of that weight. I have 68 more pounds to reach my goal.
My Program:
I am trying to watch what I eat, sometimes it's harder that other times.I exercise 4 days a week, but I seem to have reached a plateau, So I have been lost only 2.5 pounds in the last 3 months.I need to boost the exercisesing maybe 6 days a week.I just have to keep it up and not get discourage about it.
Personal Information:
My name is Anita and I come from New Hampshire. I was born here and raised catholic and I still am a practision catholic to this day. I will celebrate our 43 anniversary on November 25. I can't believe that we have been toghether that long. We have 4 grown children who range in age from 42 to 28 years old. We also have 8 great grandchildren, also 3 great - grandchildren. Who I love very very much. I also have my very best friend of 42 years, and we have been through it all side by side. She is more like the sister that I never had.
Other Information:
I love to read books every chance I get. I love reading the Chicken Soup book Series, which I have received as gifts. I also read Nicholis Sparks books And I also will go to the movies to see his books on film. I also read Lillian Jackson Braun, and Diane Mott Davidson, they both write mysteries. I also have read Carol Higgins Clark, Fern Michals, but not all her books I just read one of the Fern Michals series of books
