Now 55 and feel I need to make the effort to keep fit and healthy lbs have just crept on over the last few years and I need to stop the rot Reached goal weight October 2010 and have maintained for 2 years. However 10lbs have crept back on so now to call a halt and get back on track.
Winter 5% challenge;
Aim to do 30 mins + exercise every day to run 4 miles once a week and walk at least a mile in my lunch break when I am at work. I am not tracking my food but watch what I eat and need to go for portion control and not use food as a reward . I am also aiming to drink 6+ glasses of water a day.

I read lots, at present mostly crime and thrillers. Enjoy my home and garden. Learning to enjoy exercise I run a little, do exercise DVD's and a little hula hooping .
I didn't work as much as I expected yesterday. LOL The weather was too big a distraction. Twink loves it whe the sun shines and I get out there with her. Been so wet lately I felt I was justified in making the most of it. :-)
I had the house open for awhile today too! Felt so good, it energizes me. Beautiful day. Sounds like you really made good use of yours. I spotted some bulbs pushing up too. We are definitely ready for spring. I hired someone to fix the back fence today; they might start tomorrow depends on the weather. We have a lot of rain in the forcast. But, feels good just to have a plan and contractor. Brighter days ahead! :)
I was thinking "do the windows" too but we're due another bout of storms (apparently) over the weekend it the winds are throwing sand so no point for now. But I am actually looking forward to doing them, it'll mean spring is around the corner for one thing!!
