Now 56 and feel I need to make the effort to keep fit and healthy.
Reached goal weight October 2010 and have maintained for 4 years.
Aim to do 30 mins + exercise every day to run 3 miles twice a week and walk at least a mile in my lunch break when I am at work. I am not tracking my food but watch what I eat and need to go for portion control and not use food as a reward . I am also aiming to drink 6+ glasses of water a day.
My name is Anne I live in Chelmsford in Essex, England. I am 56 years old and am married with two grown up children, one granddaughter and two young cats. I work full time as a palliative care nurse/lecturer in a hospice.
I read lots, at present mostly crime and thrillers. Enjoy my home and garden. Learning to enjoy exercise I run a little, do exercise DVD's and a little hula hooping .
Hi Anne Today got the last of the groceries, spend tomorrow afternoon preparing veg etc as John and Vicki will be with us for Christmas Day through to night-time so I don't want to be hidden in the kitchen. Boxing Day I get a day off cooking as we're over to them. New Year's Eve they're back over to us for a nibble-as-often-as-you-want-throughout-the -evening buffet and come midnight we're letting off the remainder of the fireworks bought for Guy Fawkes Night. In between I shall flake out on the sofa or go for a walk-weather permitting! Have a wonderful time hun, much love to all at your house. Merry Crimbo
Because there have been two deaths in the last couple of months on Rob's side of the family - both his grandmas passed - I told Bry and Rob not to try and squeeze us in for a visit as well as his family, as they've had so much driving around to do lately, and they want a quiet Christmas in their own home this year to recover from all the upset, and from the whooshing deadlines Bry has been chasing for her MA work. So it is just me and Tara this year. :-)
Hi Honey, I injured my wrist when a chair tipped over backwards that I was using as leverage to stand up, and over a few days it just got worse until I thought it best to go to A&E. They didn't x-ray, said it is torn ligament and damage or pinching from swelling affecting the ulnar nerve. Bit of a pain that it is the right one this time. Been told I'll be in a splint for about 6 weeks, and have to keep alternately icing and heating it. Loving your Sparkpage pics. She is growing up fast, isn't she? :-)
