Training!

Finally, I'm going to do it!

After years of half-exercising, half-eating better, half-...being healthy, I'm going to give myself an ultimatum. I've been running for years, but I've decided that it's time to shed that extra weight, really become a better, healthier person - physically and mentally.

I have a habit of getting complacent or apathetic, but I'm trying to put myself in to situations where I'm no longer allowed to do that.
Finally, I'm going to do it!

Glad to hear running is going well! YAY for the half marathon!!! How was the New Year's Eve run? emoticon

I haven't really gone running since early November. I've been getting up to the mountain at least once a week to ski. And I'm using that as my exercise, and allowing myself to stop feeling guilty about not running. I've lost the bug, temporarily, and I've been beating myself up for it - but I'm tired of feeling guilty. So, I will run when I want to run. And if I don't want to - then I won't. And that is that. emoticon

Cool!!! I am hoping our Vi gear comes in by Sat. I sooo want to wear that!! And a white bandana. Im really excited! I hope we get to meet up at this. Is your bf doing it as well? My hubby said he'd run with me and not ahead. We'll see if he gets bored with hanging with me in the back. LOL

LOL I was wondering with your comment as to what I said. LOL you know when you have a thought in your mind but you forget to put the "whole" thought down. LOL I meant in the mail about the race coming up this weekend. If you had received anything. To funny! Im in AZ working this week and can't wait to go home Thurs!!! I see on sun I will be walk/running. I have not been able to train very hard at all. Oh well... I did lose 4lbs and hoping I hit more by Thurs this week!!! :) Hope all is well with you! Did you pick out your outrageous outfit yet so you'll be recognized?
