Member since 2009 and still have lots of weight to lose. (Ummm) Obviously, I am not doing my part to lose wieght and get healthly. Well, here I go again (at least I don't give up). I have enrolled in a boot camp with friends ( accountability) that begins on the January 9th, 2012. I'm excited (I think) and very concerned about the food (I like to eat and I eat large quantities). I need this because I not only am dealing with high blood pressure but also rheumatoid arthritis (which brought my Crossfit journey to a screeching halt).

What I do have going for me is that that when I start something new, I do it big. I give it everything that I have until something happens that stops me cold. I need this not to be a program, it needs to be a life style change that sticks. No road blocks this time this needs to be the way I live and my life . My family needs to follow me on this journey to a new way of living healthy so that we all can live long health lives.

My Goals:
Overall I would like to lose about 100 lbs. More importantly I want to improve my health.

On the way toward that goal I will purchase myself a new road bike after I lose 50 lbs.

To ride in the 2012 Hilly Hundred Bike Tour that take place in the fall on my new road bike.


My Program:
Weekly completing:
- 4-5 days of cardio per week
- 2-3 days of strength training.

Striving Towards;
-start each day with 10 minutes of strength training or cardio. (I am not a morning person)

I'm a happily married mother of 4. Am an an avid reader of christian and youth fiction. I enjoy gardening (flowers and vegetable). I also have a passion for cycling. Nothing is better than seeing God's creations from a bike. I need Spark people to help me better enjoy God's creation without becoming so winded that I miss things along the way :-)
