I've hit thirty, I've stopped smoking, I've started cohabiting, I've started working in a building with a delicious cafeteria. Every month another lot of my clothing is suddenly too small for me. Gah! This is getting to be depressing, let alone expensive!


___GOALS______________________

133 - Start.
128 - Lose five, get the lost 5 lbs icon!
125 - Get my pinstriped pants back! And the black ones too!
123 - Lose ten, get the lost 10 icon!
120 - Get my nice grey work pants back!
117 - Get allllll the pants and skirts in the sewing room back!!
115 - !This would be my final goal! Fit into size 4 without having to shorten the legs! Inconceivable!!

9/10/08 - Started spark. All fired up!
10/20/08 - Taken out of my element and fell off the sparklehorse for a bit.
11/1/08 - sputtering along. Doing an okay job, but not fully committed like I was before.
11/12/08 - finally making a motivational collage to put on the inside of my closet door. I don't want to forget! Also rearranged my daily goals like stretching, situps, packing my lunch 5xweek....

5/15/2009 - After a 5 month bout of laziness and apathy I'm back! Yay! I want to be healthy. No more letting life get in the way of that.
09/13/2010 - ruh roh. Just weighed in at 137. That's going the wrong direction. Updated info. Downloaded the food tracker on my phone. Let's see if we can stick to this a little more. Now I've got a wedding dress to fit into!

My Goals:

- I want to prove to myself that I CAN lose weight.

- I want to get back into the clothes I was wearing two years ago.

- I want to be able to buy a pair of pants at the store and not have to have them altered.


My Program:

- Walking instead of driving whenever possible.

- Situps and stretches every day.

- Burn 1000 calories per week by cardio.

- Track what I eat to see where I'm going wrong.

- Never stuffing myself silly, no matter how good something might be.

- If I mess up, I have to promise not to *give* up, but rather take a deeeep breath and get right back on.



Personal Information:

I'm in Chicago and even though it's icy half the year I'm really happy I can walk to most places instead of using my car all the time.
