Step One

I have been heavy my whole life. I can never remember being satisfied with what I looked like. It is my intention to change that, one step at a time.

I have decided to have Weight Loss Surgery. After tearing my ACL and rehabing the knee for months, I decided it was in my best interest to have a Gastric Sleeve Surgery. I had surgery September 16th 2014. This is a tool to help me get to Step Two, a healthier life.

My highest weight was 350 pounds, I started on SparkPeople at 308.6 lbs. I am no longer morbidly obese, I have had many NSVs and see many goals being accomplished in my future!

My Goals:
Overall Goal:
I would like to weigh 140 pounds and maintain.

My Program:
1. I use myfitnesspal.com and their app to track my calories.
2. I work out at least 5 days a week. This could be using mapmywalk outside, walking on the treadmill, biking, or riding stationary bike.
3. Stop giving up, stop it, just stop it. I keep starting and then falling off the wagon, throwing my arms in the air and giving up but now, I will not be starting over, just continuing forward.

February certainly DID fly by!

We have a cold front moving in right now, but I'm REALLY hoping this is the last of it. I grew up experiencing all four seasons, but I've really turned into a wussy texan. haha Unlike Elsa... the cold in fact..DOES bother me. emoticon

oh no... knee crunches are not good! Take care of those knees girl! I didn't start running until I was 34, so we're never too old to start. haha
