A 27 y/o breast cancer patient who isn't going to let herself LOOK/FEEL like she is

Hi all! My name is Anjanette (Anj for short). ^_^ I am not new to SparkPeople, however it has been a while since I've used it and my life has changed drastically earlier this year. I decided I'd rather start a fresh account and go from there.

Hi all! My name is Anjanette (Anj for short). ^_^ I am not new to SparkPeople, however it has been a while since I've used it and my life has changed drastically earlier this year. I decided I'd rather start a fresh account and go from there.

On March 20, 2012 I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I was 26 years old when I was diagnosed, have no family history and have always tried to lead a relatively healthy lifestyle. Shocking as it may have been, this was the path God set me on. Since then, I have been through 2 separate chemotherapy regimens and finished my last session a couple weeks ago.

Next on my agenda is surgery, but for now, I want to get rid of my chemo-couchpotato pudge. :) In all fairness, I had some before chemo, but it certainly didn't help to be fatigued and unable to muster the energy to exercise.

Anyway, I want to get fit again and be in the best shape I can be before surgery!

Thanks for adding me as a SparkFriend! How did you find me? Was it through ANJFTW or through the Everything Japanese team?

Congratulations on finishing your chemo--you're well on your way now! Boy, it'll be really nice when you've finished with all that cancer crap and get on with LIFE! Are you expected to have radiation treatments after surgery or will the chemo be annoying enough?

Do you have any new/new-ish anime that you can recommend? Nothing has really caught my eye lately, and I wonder if I'm looking in the wrong places.
