My Goals:
Run the Fargo Marathon 5K in May 2012 Complete c25k (12-15 weeks) Below 130 by October 1 Smaller bra size Size 16/18 by Jan 1 I'd like to have more energy, make better food choices, shop for clothes in a few sizes smaller ... but more than anything I want to prove that I CAN DO IT!
My Program:
Lots of fitness, focusing on eating less and healthier, and lots of pre-planning. That's the best way to avoid Taco Bell! I track EVERYTHING I PUT IN MY MOUTH and drink at least 64oz of water daily. I love going for long walks (which are slower with my dogs) and even though I don't LOVE strength training, I love the BADASS feeling I get after pushing myself! I'm 8 weeks into running, still in the baby steps stages of c25k. I love Zumba and as I continue melting away fat with cardio will implement Pink Gloves boxing to my fitness regimen.
Personal Information:
I've lived in MT most of my life, currently in Billings. I am a grief/trauma counselor and work for a local hospice as the volunteer and bereavement coordinator. I belong to TOPS and weigh in weekly. I've come to realize that having the amazing life I've always dreamed of is well within my reach, but I have to be the one to make it happen.
Other Information:
I have a wonderful family, the greatest friends, and love my job. Everyone is pretty astounded to my commitment to health and fitness, and they don't complain too much when I fit them in around working out. I keep incredibly busy, but have so-so time management priorities. I love knitting, music, reading, movies, COFFEE and microbrews :) I am learning to eat less and utilize healthier foods to satisfy my sweet tooth. I've discovered new foods that are so good and good for you - a big fan of FAGE! I like to travel and entertain others whether it's with table talk and stories or hosting a party. I've accomplished so much in my life - how is losing weight the thing that continues to plague me?
