Spark People is awesome! I made my goal weight with BLC10. I love BLC (Biggest Loser Club) and highly recommend this team for anyone who is serious about their weight loss. I recently have gained back several pounds simply because I became lazy in my eating accountability. It's all about healthy eating and an active lifestyle taking a higher priority. So now it's time to get serious again and put that healthy lifestyle back where it belongs on the priority list!!

Personal Information:
My name is Beth, I am 58 years old, married with 5 adult children. I have 5 grandchildren. I have recently moved from Virginia Beach to Lake Gaston, NC - so bathing suits are expected here too! I am very blessed with good health and I will do all I can to make sure that I use that blessing to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.


Other Information:
In 2010 I took up running with a goal of running a half-marathon before 2011. I made that goal on 9/8/10. In this past year I have run an additional 5 half-marathons and just ran my 1st marathon on 10/15/11! I would recommend running (or race walking) for anyone who is physically able. The cost is a good pair of shoes and a decent running watch. I have faithfully followed a training program, not overdoing it, and have managed to be injury free. It is an awesome way to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and realize how strong you really are.
