Me Part Duh

I am 14, 607 days old, that's 40 years and 1 week for my non-math friends. I'm beginning again. 2012 was not kind to me at all so I am looking forward to 2013. A lot of steps back and not enough forward hurt me in 2012, but at least I recognize it before it's too late.

I used to be very good. I ate well, exercised a lot and took very good care of myself. The past year's events had really gotten to me: losing a friendship, being simply defeated at work, and while I was training for my first marathon my dad passed away.

People think it's cause I turned 40, nope. I love being my age-whatever it is. I just let life get to me and I need to get it back. I don't feel sorry for myself and I don't accept failure. I'm not a whiner, I just needed to get it out and see it for the first time.

I'm on my way back, which is why I titled my page "Me part Duh." I want me back and it's all common sense...I just have to do it...duh. :)

My Goals:
My goals...hmm...
Lose the weight I've gained since October.

Do an Adventure race with trail running, m0untain biking, kayaking...need to work on mtn biking.



My Program:
I'm tracking my food...gotta work on portion control.

I'll still be running, but shorter distances, nothing over 10 miles.

I'll be working on my mountain biking. I have a great bike-just no confidence in my abilities.

Personal Information:
I live in South Carolina,but I'm from Tennessee. I am a Math teacher, but I would like to teach higher level Math.

I enjoy running long diatnces, but it has done damage to my hip and I have to cut the running back. I love trail running, which is easier on my joints.

I do love God. I am married and I have one dogter.
