SUCCESSES: Increased stamina & eliminated pain
* Able to walk to train w/no back pain!!
* No pain when standing
* Lost 40+ lbs (NOT the good way!!)

CHALLENGES:
(1) Consistently "healthy" eating
(2) Daily exercise

What that means to me right now:
* Lower blood sugar to normal ranges
* Enjoy living a low-carb, high veggie lifestyle
--- See food as primarily medicinal, not as comfort
--- Substitute water & ...

My Goals:
INCREASE STAMINA
Able to return to walking to/from train -- without being winded, red, and sweaty.

ELIMINATE PAIN
Able to stand/walk for more than 5 minutes without piercing lower back pain. Able to walk down stairs without knee pain.

INCREASE FUN
Able to roller blade again without terror at throwing out my back or breakin' a hip!

My Program:
NEW: Regular grocery shopping to keep healthy foods in the house (eliminates fast food after work!)

(1) Avoid eating after 8pm

(2) Keep apples, nuts, other healthy snacks AT MY DESK to avoid the "Oh I'll just have a 2nd bag of chips TODAY" lies.

(3) D-a-i-l-y cardio/treadmill for 30-60 minutes

(4) Take the train to/from work more often (3,000 steps!)
