I'm 25 and have been fighting with fibromyalgia for years. Recently I got it (mostly) under control using the Guaifenesin Protocol, and am starting to get my body back in shape. My newest passion is yoga. I LOVE the stretch that it gives me, and the fact that I work up a heck of a sweat without feeling overtaxed.

My biggest challenge is, of course, my health issues. I'll feel great for a while and make fantastic progress, then get sick and backslide substantially. It's hard to feel like I'm not actually gaining any ground towards my goal, because every time I start to lose weight I catch a flu bug or the weather changes quickly enough to trigger a flare-up. But I AM making progress, and I need to constantly remind myself of that fact so that I don't get discouraged and give up (again).

Fitness Minutes: 65

My Goals:
* Lose 25lbs by my birthday.

* Learn to control the frequency and reduce the span of fibro flareups.

* Start running - run a 5k with my "twin" this summer.


My Program:
YOGA! I love how it stretches my body without hurting me, even on bad days.

Start doing pilates again - goal of 3 days/week.

Get my butt on the elliptical & stationary bike for cardio.



Personal Information:
I'm from Wisconsin - lived in Milwaukee for a while and now live in Madison. I love the Madison lifestyle and really want to get in shape so that I can start making use of all of the bike trails when the weather gets nice again!
