Still Going Strong
Hello Everyone! My name is Mary and I live in the Midlands and I have lost weight and gained weight! Just turned 40 this year and promised myself that I want to be healthier and lose weight the right way this time. I work full-time and am in school full-time but I make time every morning to exercise to get my day off to a great start!! Hello Everyone! My name is Mary and I live in the Midlands and I have lost weight and gained weight! Just turned 40 this year and promised myself that I want to be healthier and lose weight the right way this time. I work full-time and am in school full-time but I make time every morning to exercise to get my day off to a great start!! I am happily married with no children and just want to be a fit and fun loving wife! Found this site and hope that it will help me to reach my goals! Update: Celebrated one year here on SparkPeople and I have continued to go strong despite some setbacks this year with injuries! I am consistently tracking and exercising and making all efforts to stay connected to those who provide motivation, encouragement and support which is what I have found here with SparkPeople! This website has played a major role in pushing me to stay on track even when I fall and I realize that I don't fall far but it can be easy to get off track without others there encouraging you to keep going! The weight has been slow to come off but I know that this is the best way! There are some good days and there are those bad days; but I work hard to let the GOOD outweigh the BAD!! :) Will continue to stay focused on a healthy lifestyle which will allow me to reach my goals! Thanks to everyone that has provided me with motivation, support and encouragement! Will keep sparking!!

My Goals:
My goals are: 1) Get off of high blood pressure & cholesterol medications! 2) Able to sit with legs crossed! :) 3) Shop in the petite section and not worry about having clothes altered! 4) Set a positive example for family members and let them know that it is possible to lose weight in a healthy manner!
My Program:
1) Exercise 5-6 times per week - 4 days cardio and 2 days of strength training 2)Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day 3) Track my food with the nutrition tracker 4)Track exercises in the fitness tracker 5)Keep my daily journal 6) SPARK!!!
