Well I am starting this journey to lose weight again. I have tried in the past and have given up on numerous occasions.

While sitting at home I started wondering why am I overweight? I have been overweight my whole life. I don't know what it is like to be at a healthy weight. As I started thinking the answer was simple. It was me preventing myself from changing my ways.

Well I am starting this journey to lose weight again. I have tried in the past and have given up on numerous occasions.

While sitting at home I started wondering why am I overweight? I have been overweight my whole life. I don't know what it is like to be at a healthy weight. As I started thinking the answer was simple. It was me preventing myself from changing my ways.

As that thought began to sink in I started researching exercises, weight loss programs, or even herbal supplements that I can take in order to help me in my quest.

Now the only thing that was stopping "me" was motivation. I just couldn't find the motivation. In December 2010 things happened with my ex that truly angered and bothered me so then I started my journey in January. I figured it is a new year I can start fresh no excuses.

So I started heading to the gym 2 to 3 times a week with the motivation of revenge. As I started working out, I felt more confident and a lot more stronger. I am now able to do cardio for more than 15 mins without panting like a dog on a hot summer day.

As I saw the changes in my stamina I started to get excited and I just felt better. Slowly, my motivation has turned from revenge of the ex into just doing it for myself.

I still have a long journey but I am here and getting the support that I need from each and everyone of you.

My Goals:
Eat healthier and do more exercising and building my confidence up and just being happier being me.

My Program:
I am trying to get myself more active. I love learning new things. For example right now I am taking a belly dancing class and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I am also going for more walks and I am attempting to attend the gym 2 to 3 times a week.

I am trying to learn on how to eat a well balanced diet and to make sure I get all the nutrition that my body needs. I am actually having trouble in this department which is why I am here. I have seen on this website a lot of recipes that I could enjoy.



Personal Information:
I have taken beginner kickboxing in the past but have been unable to finish the course due to issues that were out of my control. I am hoping to be able to take the course again and finish it.

Other Information:
I love to do karaoke, playing board games, camping, card games, hanging out with my friends, traveling, writing poetry, drawing, listening to music and watching movies.

I can say I know what you mean about the boyfriend thing. My husband divorced me for another woman and at first I wanted to lose weight so I could flaunt it in front of his face but not now I just want to take care of me for myself everything else will fall into place on it's on. Just don't give up you will succeed.
