Thanks for your blog comment! Wall pushups are definitely overrated. I did "girl pushups" (the ones on your knees) for MONTHS and I never got strong enough to switch to full "man" pushups. Before my last back issue, I was doing a reasonable number of real, military style pushups and I started with wall, counter, couch, bed, and laundry basket pushups!
Pullups are no laughing matter. Mark's Daily Apple has a Primal Blueprint Fitness e-book that's free, and he has videos of a pullup progression. I bought the same pullup bar he's using in the video from trapezerigging.com, but if you have a doorframe bar you can pull a chair up to it and cheat your way to pullups. 1800 days ago
