So, I've completely decided that it was time to just re-do this section of my sparkpage.

My name is Kristen (my friends call me Kris) and I'm 30 years old (AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH lol) and I'm the mother to two children: Jonathan (age 11) and Elizabeth (age 9). I've been married since October 7, 2006 to my husband Eric. We all live in Hummelstown PA (very close to Hershey Park).

So, I've completely decided that it was time to just re-do this section of my sparkpage.

I had lapband surgery in May 2008, but still pretty much look like I did on my wedding day. I am pretty frustrated with myself actually. Even going to the gym 3 - 5 times a week for at least an hour each time did nothing to move the numbers on the scale. I know I shouldn't let the numbers on the scale define who I am as a person, but it is very disheartening to see all the hardwork and sweat you put into getting healthier and nothing to show for it. Of course, stressing doesn't help, and not getting enough sleep every night is also probably not helping.

I'm currently going to school full time for my Master's degree in Accounting. I only have two more classes (which I start on April 13, 2009) and then I'll be done with school for a while. I'll be sitting for the CPA exam sometime in the next year and will probably take some sort of classes to prepare for the CPA exam.

I've been on SP for a LONG time and while I don't use ALL of the tools available to me, I do use a lot of them. I need to get better at tracking what and how much I eat though - that is one of my biggest downfalls.

I NEED a buddy to hold me accountable for what I say I'm going to do. I have people that say to me "oh, yeah, we can email, I'll help you, you can help me" and then the emails are far and few between. Perhaps I should just make it a point to add a blog every day since I usually get feedback for those posts. :)

Anyway, my goals for the rest of April and hopefully the rest of the year are:

1. Get to bed by 9:30 at the latest (aim for 9 PM).
2. Eat breakfast by 9 AM every morning.
3. Go to the gym AT LEAST 3 times per week (my weeks run Monday to Sunday) for an hour each time.
4. Get AT LEAST 64 ounces of water in every day.
5. Start logging my food and exercise.

My Goals:
I would like to be healthier inside and out.

I want to set a good example for my kids.

I want to be able to shop at Victoria's Secret!

I want to be confident and have great self-esteem.

I want to live a long life and not have problems because of my weight.

I want to go sky diving, and ride in a hot air balloon.

I want to be free and happy! That is my ultimate goal. Oh, I also want to see if losing weight will help my thyroid condition to the point that I don't have to take any more pills!

My Program:
My program is taking it one day at a time and not being too hard on myself if I don't do something perfectly. I am also teaching myself that the changes I am making are a lifestyle betterment, not a "diet".

Thanks for the comments on my blog Kris... I wish it were that easy to just tell her to move out. The sperm donor isn't stepping up at all... I've seen him 2x in the last month... she says he has come over during the day for an hour or so a few times. I know I'm just tired and need to stand up for myself before I get sick. And maybe this weekend will be the time to do it!
