Tanja - that is so great that you are running races with your husband! Quite a bonding experience. I hope you blog about your half marathon - I would love to read about it. My cousin ran his first marathon last year and his pictures and descriptions made me feel like I was right there with him! (Except for the pain!)
I'm afraid my running days are over - my joints have been terrible this year, but I'm really enjoying hiking. I'll take joy where I can find it!
I'm so happy to hear that the girls are doing well too. It's a busy busy time - but enjoy it while it lasts!
Hugs all around -- it was wonderful to talk with you again!
Hi Tanja! I was gone...for 2 months. I wanted to take a break from SP. Didn't do myself any favors, but I'm happily back and keeping track of my exercise again. Still working on the food tracking (gah!) but I need to.
I didn't realize how sad I was until we adopted our new dog! She is an amazingly well-behaved 2 year old who actually COMES when you call her! We can have her off leash when we're on the trails and she doesn't take off for the next county....it's been great. She likes cats, which is good - and was ok with our oldest daughter's dog (she met him at their house) but was not good with our youngest daughter's boyfriend's dog. Dog fight. Minor injuries...but it was unsettling.
We just got slammed with another 12 inches of snow, so my husband is working from home today. We had a teaser for Spring just a few days ago, so it will be most lovely and WELCOME when it arrives for good. Of course, then I'll complain about the mosquitoes!
How are you doing? And the family? How has your exercise fared this winter? We just bought an elliptical last week, and it's HARD! I'm only up to 10 minutes, but I'm aiming for 30 minutes...eventually!
