This Is Me!!

Hello fellow weight losers.. I am 35 and I am a SAHM/W.
I just started on my weight loss journey late last Fall. I purchased a tea that claimed to help in the weight loss. It helped for a while with giving me energy, but once I came off it, depression set in and it was BAD!!... So once the cold weather set in I sortof stopped everything.. But Gladly, I started back up.. I go to the gym

During last summer I was sitting at 173.. My sister and I started to walk and hike in our National Park just outside of town.. My sister introduced me to a Chinese Tea that she was drinking, which gave her energy, she was losing weight, and her migraines were gone.. I ordered myself some to, and wow it really worked... I had energy, my moods were gone and I to was starting to lose weight.. I decided that I was going to stop drinking the tea and learn to lose the weight myself by just eating right and more exercise.. Well I fell into a deep depression for a while afterwards.. I am happy to say that the depression only lasted a couple of weeks, and my hubby and I joined the gym..
Wow!! The gym was awesome.. I loved going.. I think the elliptical and treadmill were my favorite equipment there.. I would really push myself on those machines.. Instantly I saw a difference in how I was looking and fitting into my clothes.. But my biggest success so far, has been working out to "The Biggest Loser Cardio Max & Sculpting Max" boot camp DVDs..
They are sculpting and firming up my body and I love the way I am looking in clothes.. I just started week 3 & 4 in the cardio workout yesterday.. Oh my goodness, I thought I was going to die.. It's really intense cardio.. My heart rate stayed up at 172 beats per minute throughout the entire workout.. Crazy!!.. But I guess I love pain, because I am doing it each day.. emoticon I recommend these dvd's to everyone that is totally serious about losing weight.. There is no magic pill.. It is hard work, but it's fun.. Now what I need to work on, is taking in enough calories.. I need a meal plan that is based on a 1400 calorie diet, with the stuff I have in my cupboards.. I bought some protein powder 100% Whey.. because I never get enough protein in a day.. I love salads, salmon, fruits, but I'm not a big meat person, unless it's hamburgers or something like that..
But that is what I am working on now, since I have my exercise routine down pat.. As soon as I get that right, the pounds will just melt off.. emoticon
