Fell off the band wagon, climbing back on again!

I fell off the weight loss band wagon about 7 1/2 months ago. First I was in the hospital very ill from acute pyelonephritis that became septic, along with hypomagnesium and hypopotassium and then after that I've been going through a legal battle with my ex for my two older children.

He has been playing games in court (that are only making him look bad to every one) and he has unlawfully refused to let our children see their mother (myself). So I fell apart and for the first time ...

So I fell apart and for the first time in my life I have started emotional eating. I had to take leave from college, received an academic dismissal (after getting all A's & B's since I began in Fall 06).

When this all began in July I was 128 lbs, I have gained 20 lbs back so now I am 148 lbs. I was a size 2 for a while, now I can't fit into my size 2 jeans. I'm stuck wearing stretch pants, workout pants and sweatpants again. My joints are starting to ache quite a bit from the extra weight I have put on.

I am having a hard time becoming motivated this time around, so any encouragement that anyone may have will be welcome :o) Thank you!

I stopped by saw your huddle. You are great. I always whine about my life but yours is a challenge for you and your kids. I cannot imagine how you keep going and I really am mad at myself for complaining and feeling sorry for myself. Please know my prayers will be with you.

Just stopped by your page to show some love. You deserve a hug. Things will and have to get better one day at a time. When you are feeling low don't turn to eating get on your computer and let it rip (vent til you get tired) there's always someone around to listen.
Take care,
Patti emoticon

Wow - God certainly has given you allot to deal with. I will pray that he gives you the courage to carry you though it.

I understand what you are going though with court and the ex. I went through the same thing when my daughter was 5. You can do it, you really can. Your children are your springboard. When I look back on the days when it was sooo hard, I realize that they were my best of times. They were the times that made me grow by leaps and bounds.

You will get though this - you absolutely will.

Just drink water when you feel like emotionally eating, or work out, or do just what you did, hop on the computer and go to Sparks!

Take good care of yourself.

You've been through a lot, so you're more than due for better days ahead.

Your kids are gorgeous. Don't let ex's game-playing wear you down. You've proven how strong you are.

Sending you tons of emoticon !
