One day at a time.

I am a happily married 31 year old mother of two. I have a son who is 6 and my daughter is 4. My family and friends mean everything to me and I would like to be with them for a while. I want to lose weight, so I can be active with my kids how I used to be, be around to meet my grandchildren, and feel good about myself again. I also want my children to learn how to live healthy lifestyles, so they can live long, healthy, happy lives.

My Goals:
I want to lose 129 lbs, get fit, and be the healthiest I have ever been in my life.

My Program:
I am going to take it one day at a time. I am going to eat healthy, exercise daily, and do my best to enjoy every day as a new healthier day. I am also setting shorter term goals to meet my long term goal.
Goal 1: 190 lbs
Goal 2: 160 lbs
Goal 3: 140 lbs
Goal 4: 120 lbs

To check your daily calorie differential, go to the Nutrition tracking page and then click on the tab for REPORTS.. under that one called "Daily Calorie Differential" and you can see how much you're eating vs. burning in basal metabolic rate plus exercise. Then the final number tells you the difference. If it's -500 or more each day, you should be losing a pound a week. If not, then you didn't quite make it.

Thanks MIPALADY23. That's a good way to look at it. I never thought about it that way. I will definitely be keeping your words in mind while I'm on this journey.
