Well...I'm a stay at home wife and mom through the week and a part time nurse on the weekends. I've struggled with my weight since high school, but even more since having a family. I have 2 boys that are currently 6 and 3. I couldn't tell you how many weightloss attempts I've made....way too many to count. I'm not giving up though. I know that I can achieve a better me and this time I'm done with all the "fad diets" and doing it the old fashioned way. Exercise and eat right.

I weigh myself daily in the mornings. I'll start posting my Wednesday weigh-in results here each week.

9/14/11-204.8 (+2.6) **Had back injury, recieved steroid shot and pills resulting in weight gain, not to mention emotional eating related to not being able to workout.
9/21/11-208.4 (+3.6) **Had a 2nd steroid shot. If it doesn't help by next Monday, the next step is an MRI. We were also on vacation this week, so there was a lot of eating out. :-/

-Planning my meals days in advance
-Tracking measurements
-Weighing each morning and writing it down
-C25K on M, W, and F evenings
-Aerobics on M, W, and F mornings
-Drinking lots of water
-Getting plenty of sleep
-If I do the crime of cheating on my diet, then I do the time and add an additional workout
