Here we go again!

I think this is try #1001, but this time I decided to take it one day at a time, maybe that, combined with some of the other changes I have to make ,will do the trick.

I work FT in a high stress job, have a generally high stress lifestyle and some med problems I am trying to get under control. The meds I am currently on are not exactly helping my weight loss efforts, do you know what I mean?

Do you live around my neighborhood, are you going through something ...

My Goals:
I give myself to next summer to lose 50 - 60 lbs...be off my CPAC machine (sleep apnea), off of my HTN meds, have a lot less fibro flare ups & hopefully have my asthma well controlled (off steroids), plus get rid of my CHEMO, MRI's, CAT scan's & the condition that makes all of this necessary!!!!!! Tall order, but I can do it. by taking baby steps (they do add up)! If I can only accomplish half of what I set out to do, I will be thrilled...

My best bud (my dog Sasha) also needs to lose weight (according to her vet) and her additional 6 lbs are compromising her health. She is a small Pom mix and I thought she was a bit chubby, but it's effecting her breathing and she is on meds for that. So, we both are trying to lose weight & improve our looks, health :)

My Program:
Just started out in earnest, so right now I keep a food journal, stick to a healthy food program & started walking with Sasha between 20 -40 mins a day. It's slow pace for right now, but I dont want to over due it & either hurt Sasha, myself or risk a early "burn out". Slow & steady...oh, I also bought the WII fit game & will try it out this weekend. & eventually add more exercises to my schedule (in due time)

Personal Information:
My name is Angela, I live in Lakewood, WA & I hve a extremely stressful, hectic nonstop job. This makes me even more prone to be so exhausted to grab food on the run...I know what to do (brown bag etc), but that requires time, planning ahead & energy, which between my health, weight & job I just don't seem to have!!! I vowed to make changes though...baby steps at first, but...

I am back strong this time. I have lost 12lbs in 4 weeks!! I am doing The Biggest Loser workouts, one day is Biggest Loser Yoga and the other is Biggest Loser Circuit training. Tough workouts but I am really sweating and burning my muscles and I can't believe the weight loss. For the past year I have been struggling with finding a way to exercise daily. Now I just "DO IT" regardless of how and for now that includes these DVDs. I hope you find an exercise that is fun for you! emoticon
