Hi,After a visit with my brother from Texas(who is just been diagnosed as a diabetic),and a visit to the doctor,He made me a challenge of going on a 1200 calorie diet.Plus I just knew it was time to quit eating and get healthy.With all of your help I can do it !
Now that we live here in sunny Florida I would like to go to the beach and NOT feel self concious,and that is not going to happen at 194 pounds.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 69 lbs by this time next year and learn to eat healthy in the process.I would like to lose enough so that when my step-son gets married I can make the ex-wife envious(just kidding).I would like to look better in these wedding photos than I did in the daughters photos.

My Program:
 I am drinking less soda and more water,eating more fruit and salads and genrally paying more attention to what I am putting in the mouth.I am also cutting out all the carbs that I was eating.I didn't realize how much I was consuming,Wow.

Personal Information:
My name is Judy Alcumbrack and I am from Sun City Center,Fl and it sure would be nice to look better in a bathing suit !

Other Information:
 My hobbies include sewing(I have a great sewing room),painting,crocheting,and collecting cookbooks........ouch!I have three sewing machines,a serger,a regular viking machine and a janome embroidery machine,all of which I love.

Got your note. Right about it taking a while to recover from knees. I am not doing well with this. I am still hungry after I have eaten my meals and want to eat from 5-8 after I get home. I hope it gets easier. Drinking the water is also not going well. Water in water out!!!! I am still teaching and I am in a portable building without a bathroom.

thanks for the note. I too hope I can get healthy. We are going to Daytona again this summer. We will be there June 23=29. I take the whole family if they can get off. So far hubby, two daughters, and two grands are going to be with me. I hope to be able to walk on the beach this year. I have had both knees replaced and the neck done. Last year while at the beach I was waiting to have one knee replacaed. Again, thanks for the note
