My Journey to Good Health
I am a stay-at-home-mom to 2 wonderful little girls. I'm in my 20's and I really want to get healthy so I can enjoy this time in my life. My kids will only be little once, and I want to have the energy and stamina to keep up to them and really enjoy being a mom. And more importantly, I want to set a good example for my kids and teach them to be healthy!

My Goals:
My ultimate weight goal is 170 pounds, which will be about 80 pounds less than where I was before I got pregnant with my first child. 170 will still put me into the "overweight" category, but I feel it is a realistic goal. That is the weight I was when I graduated from high school and I felt great and looked great. I am setting small 25-pound goals for myself along the way. 25 seems very attainable and I think will help me to not become overwhelmed and lose momentum. I really want to have a healthier lifestyle. I want to be active and make healthy choices regarding the foods and amounts of which I am consuming. And I need to drink lots of water! I want exercise to be a part of my day, every day. Mostly, though, I want to make a lifestyle change. I have been at this off and on for a long time, and I really just want to make the changes I need to adopt a healthy lifestyle so I can get healthy and stay healthy!
My Program:
I need to keep track of what I am eating and drinking. I am going to cut out pop and junkfood, and make healthy choices about what I eat and how much. I want to make it a priority to exercise, even if all I do is put my kids in the stroller and go for a walk.
Personal Information:
I am a young mom to 2 little girls. I stay at home with them which is great! Becoming a mom has been a dream come true for me, but I have found that in the past 5 years, becoming a wife and then a mother has really caused me to lose myself. I have put myself on the back burner and now I am trying to change that. I want to not only get my body back, but to find myself again and not just be a mom or a wife, but to be Meagan again.
