A Healthier Man, now taking shape!

My healthy lifestyle journey started with SP on March 18, 2010. of Nov. 5th, 2010, I lost 97.4 lbs the safe and healthy way. Learning the proper portion sizes, eating clean, natural, whole foods and drinking an average of 20 glasses of water a day. I have also come to enjoy areobic exercises. My healthy lifestyle journey started with SP on March 18, 2010. of Nov. 5th, 2010, I lost 97.4 lbs the safe and healthy way. Learning the proper portion sizes, eating clean, natural, whole foods and drinking an average of 20 glasses of water a day. I have also come to enjoy areobic exercises. Walking daily has played a huge part of lowering my cholesteral, blood pressure and increasing my metabolism. Now I'm ready for part two of my healthy lifestyle change. To begin resistance training and start adding muscle to my 228 lb frame while at the same time continuing to increase decrease my bodyfat. A personal goal I set out for myself is to look better, more muscular, even bigger than my 1985, 190lb picture. So onward I go on my journey. 97.4 lbs. lighter, a lifetime of knowledge gained through SP over the last 8 months regarding living a healthier lifestyle.

My Goals:
1. My goal is to add muscle to my 228lb frame and lose bodyfat at the same time.
2. To begin a building foundation resistance training for an 8 week period by doing 12-15 reps. Training 3 days a week.
3. To do areobic training for 30 minutes a day 3-days a week.
4. To be an example of living a fullfiled and healthy life to my family and everyone that I come in contact with.

My Program:
1. Eating 1700-2000 calories a day.
2. My cardio is alternating 30 minutes of treamill and eliptical 3 days a week.
3.Resistance training 3 days a week, training the whole body each week. I'm ab training 3 times a week.

Personal Information:
I'm 47 years old Christian man. Happily married to an awesome and beautiful woman, Lori. I have 3 great daughters. I live and work in Orlando,Fl waiting for the loveof my life to move down from St. Louis in January 2011. Hopelly the kids will follow soon as well. I love God with all my heart, soul and mind. I'm learning to trust Him more and more each and everyday. Without Jesus Christ, I'm nothing.

Other Information:
Proverbs 3:5 & 6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understandings but acknowledge Him in everything and He will make your path straight.

Hi Ange, thank you for your comments. Certainly understand why you can't be on much, but a job is one of the best reasons I can think. Are you getting settled at work? One thing that I see, is that you continue to be motivated as you work towards your goal and it sounds like you are very close. Congratulations, You did a fantastic job this past year , keeping your attitude and motivation at the top. I wish other people could see how you handled things
